A tattered Santa Fe Railway herald adorns the locomotive shops in Albuquerque, New Mexico; the historic buildings closed in the 1990s and now stand empty. The 2007 image is an outtake from my Route 66 Railway book, landing on the cutting room floor due to lack of page space.
